House of Refuge Church of God in Christ (C.O.G.I.C.) was founded in November 1999 in Park Forest, Illinois, with a mission to teach the Word of God

and establish a lifestyle of holiness.

In August 2008, God called the ministry beyond the four walls of the church

and into the "highways and hedges" to reach men, women, boys, and girls

with the LOVE of Jesus Christ.

In October 2009, the ministry relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, and became

Highways & Hedges Outreach Ministries, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit church.

Today, we continue our mission of serving individuals and families throughout Southern Nevada by providing compassionate outreach, supportive services,

and community resources that help transform lives...​​​
